If so, plan to attend Research Orientation Day, a day-long workshop for UBC faculty members who are new to UBC.

Presentations include an overview of support services available to researchers in all disciplines, advice on securing funding, and an introduction to research ethics and financial compliance procedures. Breakout sessions give you an opportunity to ask questions about funding programs in your discipline.
