The Quality Improvement & Compliance (QuIC) program assesses UBC’s level of compliance with international, federal, provincial, and institutional regulations and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, as they relate to the ethical conduct of research involving human subjects.

The QuIC program seeks to improve the protection of human research subjects and to educate university researchers, staff, and REB members about how best to achieve this important goal. The program is part of UBC’s commitment to continuous improvement in research practice and compliance.
