  • Life Science Institute Open House – 400 people in attendance from the local community; poster and keynote speaker presentations;
  • Centre for Disease Modelling Open House – poster presentations and keynote speakers including CFI President Eliot Phillipson;
  • UBC Public Affairs and VPRI Frontier research magazine – press releases that were picked up by media outlets (e.g., Vancouver Sun) and coverage of research success stories;
  • FRED database of core facilities, equipment and research services available at UBC and Academic Hospital Campuses provides researchers, trainees and students with a means to access state-of-the art tools for research with more than 500 listings;
  • Grant Facilitation website developed as a virtual network for building community, enhancing professional development, providing information, templates and tools for all stages of the grant facilitation process.
