The Office of the Vice President Reseach and International appoints four faculty members in diverse disciplines to act as UBC's liaison to key federal funding agencies: NSERC, SSHRC, CIHR and CFI.

These Funding Agency Coordinators work closely with researchers to ensure that information is disseminated and initiatives are developed to provide support for research and scholarship in each area. Their mandate is to build research capacity, and create nodes of collaborative research across the campus community.
