I offer strategic leadership and direction to enhance opportunities for UBC scholars and researchers who wish to create new or expand current international research partnerships through Horizon Europe. I am responsible for building relationships with federal, European, and Horizon Europe Secretariat counterparts, and for understanding and connecting UBC’s research strengths to specific Horizon Europe funding programs.
Horizon Europe is the world’s largest research and innovation program, with a funding envelope of approximately EUR 95 billion under the Multiannual Financial Framework 2021-2027. Through Horizon Europe, Canada's talented research and innovation communities can help develop solutions to some of the world's most pressing challenges.
