UBC researchers are fast becoming international leaders in understanding and eliminating heart and lung diseases.

Our researchers work with international partners in healthcare and government at UBC’s two campuses and our affiliated teaching hospitals.

Together these research teams are successfully developing tests, biomarkers and clinical therapies to predict, treat and cure two of the world’s leading causes of death.
