Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, unfortunately, we have had to reconfigure our Research Orientation Day, a free annual event intended for assistant, associate and full professors who are new to UBC's Vancouver campus (and affiliated health research institutes).
This year, you are invited to attend virtual Research Orientation Office Hours, with UBC’s National Funding Agency ResearchAdvisors in the areas of Health Research (CIHR), Natural Sciences & Engineering (NSERC), Social Sciences & Humanities (SSHRC) and Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI).
The National Funding Agency Research Advisors are specially appointed faculty members who work closely with researchers to promote awareness of funding opportunities across all disciplines and to provide support for individuals or groups considering applications to external agencies.
You are invited to sign up for the drop-in Q&A Zoom session/s of your choice/area of interest.
Stay tuned for more events in the fall, when we will be hosting virtual information sessions with multiple research administration and support units within the Vice-President Research & Innovation portfolio.
