The 2022 University Killam Professors competition has launched and the UBC community is invited to consider faculty members who may be eligible for this distinction. The designation of University Killam Professor (UKP) recognizes faculty members who are extraordinary teachers and researchers, who are leaders in their academic fields, and who have received national and international recognition and prestige. It is the highest honour that the university confers on a faculty member. Nominations must be submitted by the Dean of the Faculty in which the nominee holds their primary appointment. Please check with your Faculty to determine the process for nominations. Nomination deadline: September 1, 2022
