VPRI Unit: Research Ethics

UBC hosted a Research Ethics Conference in Vancouver on October 3, 2018 to present topics in clinical research ethics.

Attending were members of the UBC Research Ethics Boards as well as representatives from Simon Fraser University, the University of Northern BC and University of Victoria and BC health authorities (Fraser Health and Interior Health).

In this full day, hands-on workshop, open to both new and re- applicants, participants will work through the modules required for the IDG proposal, following short presentation on each.  The day will conclude with an opportunity to peer-edit certain modules in small groups.

Compute Canada has announced the opening of the Resource Allocation Competition (RAC) 2019. The RAC is open to researchers who require substantial amounts of High Performance Computing (HPC) and/or Cloud Computing resources.  UBC Advanced Research Computing (ARC) is available to consult in this regard.
