Today, the Honourable Pablo Rodriguez, Minister of Transport and Quebec Lieutenant, on behalf of the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, and the Honourable Mark Holland, Minister of Health, announced support for 7,700 researchers and research projects all across Canada. This represents an investment of over $1.7 billion.
Fifty-two projects led by UBC researchers awarded funding through the NSERC Alliance Grants program
Combined funding of $17.5 million supports UBC-led R&D collaborations with partners from the private, public and not-for-profit sector.
Forty-Six projects led by UBC Researchers Awarded Funding through SSHRC Insight Development Grants
UBC-led projects received a combined investment of more than $2.75 million from SSHRC.
