Canada’s Stem Cell Network (SCN) announced funding of $19.5 million for 32 stem cell and regenerative medicine research projects and clinical trials across Canada.

UBC researchers are leading seven projects awarded a total of $2.85 million from the Stem Cell Network. A further three projects involving UBC co-investigators and collaborators were awarded a combined $6.3 million.

Overview

Singularity is an open-source platform that allows researchers to package and use software on high performance computing clusters such as UBC ARC Sockeye.  To better understand how to use Singularity containers on UBC ARC Sockeye, we are hosting this workshop which will provide attendees with an overview of Singularity, as well as the basic tools to integrate Singularity into their research workflow.

As of April 9, 2022 the RISe system will have an invoice feature available for Industry-sponsored studies reviewed at: UBC Clinical Research Ethics Board (CREB), Providence Health Care REB and BC Children's and Women's REB.  Please see video here for more information.
