The three Federal granting agencies, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) have developed a draft research data management policy that is intended to guide digital data management and data stewardship practices of researchers funded by the tri-councils.
