In this full day, hands-on workshop, open to both new and re- applicants, participants will work through the modules required for the IDG proposal, following short presentation on each.  The day will conclude with an opportunity to peer-edit certain modules in small groups.

Compute Canada has announced the opening of the Resource Allocation Competition (RAC) 2019. The RAC is open to researchers who require substantial amounts of High Performance Computing (HPC) and/or Cloud Computing resources.  UBC Advanced Research Computing (ARC) is available to consult in this regard.

Rogers and the University of British Columbia (UBC) today announced a three year, multi-million dollar partnership deal to build a real-world 5G Hub on the UBC campus that will be a testbed and blueprint for 5G innovation in Canada.
